Her range is unusually wide — Traditional, Eclectic, Contemporary, Old World, Mid-Century Modern, Rustic, Mediterranean, Retro, or as she puts it, “just plain funky.” That range comes from a simple philosophy: the style that matters is the client’s. Jan’s job is to listen first, then translate what she hears into rooms that work with style and feel like home.
And she doesn’t stop at the drawings. Chateau Concepts handles the general contracting too, so the person who planned your space is the one making sure it gets built that way — a rare thing, and the reason so few details go missing between the plan and the finished space.
Clients consistently say the same thing: Jan doesn’t impose her preferences. She helps you make smart choices — and the result feels like you.
Calls returned, decisions moved along, projects kept on schedule. Design should be exciting, not exhausting.
With vendors, workrooms and trades, Jan negotiates and quality-checks on your behalf — protecting both the budget and the result.
“Jan has great taste and is very responsive. She doesn’t impose her preferences — she helps you make smart choices, and she is a strong advocate for you in working with vendors.”
